Hi everyone! Happy Saturday! We are counting down to the DELIGHTFUL December MFT Release! All of the amazing new goodies will be available on Tuesday, December 6th at 9:00 PM EST right HERE in the MFT Boutique! Today I have a card to share with you using the ADORABLE new Birdie Brown Our Story and Our Story Die-namics, and I have also used the INCREDIBLE new Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics (these will never leave my desk…love!)! I seriously cannot even tell you how much fun I had making this card! I started by cutting out the lamp, kitty, my sweet little reader, the shelf, end table, mug and vase of flowers from X-Press It Blending Card using the Our Story Die-namics and then stamped them all with Our Story using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink. I colored the all with Copic Markers. I cut a panel of patterned paper from the Free Spirit Paper Pack using Blueprints 1 Die-namics, and used the same Die-namics to cut a panel of Milk Chocolate Prestige Card Stock. I stamped the Milk Chocolate panel using Milk Chocolate Premium Dye Ink with the Wood Plank Background, and then added it to the patterned paper panel. I separated the two with a strip of Smooth White Card Stock as my “molding”. I arranged all of the elements onto my card and before attaching them with foam tape, I sponged on Lemon Chiffon Premium Dye Ink underneath the lamp so it looks like the light is shining. I then popped up all the elements with Foam Tape. The sentiment, “Read – Relax – Repeat”, from Our Story, was stamped onto a panel of Smooth White Card Stock using the new Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics and then popped up with Foam Tape.
