All About Stretchy Snake Blending CVCe Words: Stretchy Snake is here to help your students sound out words and blend the sounds together. Being able to blend sounds together and say the word is an important skill for beginning readers. In this deck students will say the sound as they touch each dot. They will notice that the final e does not make a sound but the vowel makes its long sound. Students will then slide their finger across the arrow to blend the sounds together. This activity will be played on-line and you won't need to print anything. Use the fast pin and share this activity with your students through SeeSaw, Google Classroom, or just given to parents by telling them to use the fast pin through the website. Boom cards are a fun, interactive way to engage students in their learning. Students will know right away if they made the correct inference.
