Whitman Mission is west of Walla Walla and has very nice indoor and outdoor displays of the history of the place. One of my photo club friends and I went out early in the morning, late October. He was pretty sure there would be frost and the full moon too! My hands, even in two layers of mittens, got so cold I couldn't feel them--same with my feet. It was around 20F. I like the sparkly look of the frost on the wagon cover fabric, and of course, the full moon. This historical park is a very important part of Walla Walla's early history. It has an excellent walking path with markers along the way to show where the buildings and the mill used to be.
