Coquerel`s Sifaka (Propithecus coquereli) This endangered species weighs about 4 Kg (adult) & can leap about in the tree canopy with its long powerful hind legs .It lives in matriarchal groups of 3 to 10 where the females are dominant & have preferential access to food etc. Taken at a Lemur sanctury near (25 Km) Antananarivo,Madagascar.
