Happy Sunday! It's a long weekend here, so I am loving having the extra day to get some crafting in! Here's the sketch: Some dimensions for reference: Card Base: 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Image Panel: 3-3/8 x 4-1/4 Mini Patterned Panel: 1-1/4 x 4-1/4 Optional Layer for Image Panel: 3-1/2 x 4-1/4 This card is also my entry for one of the Olympic Challenges over at My Favorite Things. It's for the 20 minute challenge. One of the great things with doing a sketch is that most of the guesswork is gone since you have your layout. You just have to find some paper, ink,and stamps. I used a retired MFT set- Pretty Poppies. I love this set! It has great sentiments. It also has a nice long word background (which is what I used to make my patterned panel) Supplies: Stamps: Pretty Poppies Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Olive Olive, Early Espresso Paper: Very Vanilla, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso Accessories, etc: Brown tweed ribbon Here's Chera's card: I absolutely love this sketch! It's so simple but yet so elegant!! I also realized that MANY of my cards are purple. In case you didn’t notice I love purple!! Love it! So I told myself this sketch was not allowed to be purple….(might have to make another one tho that is purple. hehe) For this card I pulled out Papertrey Ink bitty bouquet set! I love this set I’ve used it many times but every time I use it I think I should use it more! The ink colours for this card are Wplus9 wild mango, pumpkin spice and nautical navy. The green is from Simon says stamp green leaf! Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend! Thanks so much for stopping by!! If you play along, please leave a link!
