This project requires students to take care of an Egg Pet. Teachers will need to look up videos or information on how to blow the yolks from eggs, and then decorate them. Students must complete Adoption Papers, Egg Pet Sketches, Egg Pet Care Manuals, Egg Pet Journals, and an Egg Transportation Totes. The totes can be constructed out of milk cartons or styrofoam cups. Teachers perform Egg Checks each day to check the condition of the Egg Pets. If an egg happens to get injured, the student must perform creative surgery on the Egg Pet for it to pass through an Egg Check. It will also need to return to school with a doctor's excuse. The teacher has the option of making this a 5 day long project, or an 8 day long project.
