MeisterSinger was founded in 2001 and takes its name from a group of middle-class poets and singers from the 15th and 16th Century. The brand’s logo is a fermata, the symbol for rest in musical notation. MeisterSinger are heavily inspired by the first mechanical clocks of the Middle Ages as they only had one hand. During this period of history, people had no need for precise timing, so an idea of the time would suffice. Each model in this collection features the iconic single-hand dial that has become so recognisable and unique to the brand. The Classic models are the core timepieces of the brand, focusing only on the necessities rather than excessive detail.       Core Features of the Classic Collection: The watches in the Classic Collection all have the iconic MeisterSinger single hand and five-minute time increment indices. The models all have a timeless, vintage look due to the narrow bezels. Each watch features domed sapphire glass to protect the dial. The watches in this collection are water-resistant up to 50 metres (5 bar). The Classic Collection features watches with different designs and movements to ensure there is a perfect model for every collector. Model Specifications AM903: This watch received the GOOD Design Award and was nominated for the German Design Award.   This model features an ivory dial with double digit Arabic numeral indices. The dial features indices to mark hours and 5-minute increments. A stainless-steel case frames the dial. It measures 43mm in diameter and 11.5mm in height. This model features a 6-screwed exhibition case back, allowing the wearer to observe and enjoy the movement. This watch is powered by a Sellita SW 200-1 automatic movement. It uses 26 jewels and 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour to power the watch. The watch has a power reserve of 38 hours. This model is finished with a dark brown calf leather strap. The strap has a crocodile grain and fastens with a pin buckle.
