This calendar has all the special dates already included. Has behavior codes that are numbered for easy parent communication. Can be easily edited and changed. Has a very cute font. Good for all elementary grades. In my classroom I have these inside 3 prong folders. They are cheap and easy to duck tape (with colorful tape of course) when students tear it apart. I use the non color behavior chart and have the students color in the little chart. Every day at the end of the day I read my students one chapter from a chapter book. I have about 5-10 minutes between specials and announcements. While I am reading, one student is silently passing out backpacks, one student is quietly stacking chairs, one is passing out behavior folders. Once the announcements are on students are to stay silently on the carpet and listen. During this time is when I mark folders or write little notes to parents.
