Most self respecting knitters have knit a riddari (if not two). All my years of knitting and i am just getting around to one. I think i was concerned about the scratchiness of the yarn. I have knit with lopi before and it is a bit much for me. Not the case with this yarn. No wonder it’s so popular placeholder for sweater KAL 8.21 ordered a second skein of black heather from TWT C/o 112 sts for top down xs size wider neck version Rib size 5 needles Colorwork size 6 needles size 7 needles for body Day 2… almost certainly taking the neck rubbing out.. going to finish the yoke and go back, remove the ribbing and add a few short rows and retweak the neckline Used this to calculate short rows for top and bottom 71 sts for front and back (cast on 9 sets at each underarm when separated) 57 for each sleeve prior to separating (cast on 9 sts at underarm when separated) 80 stitches for both front and back 66 for each sleeve I made the body long because I knew it would fit oversized. In hindsight I wouldn’t have, makes it fit a little funny. I’ll wear it this winter and decide if I want to frog a few inches. Recentered beginning of round to back center prior to short rows after completed yoke
