This pink ribbon chemo hat works up quickly in worsted yarn. Instructions include chart for ribbon motif. On paper, the ribbon looks crooked, but because of the way crochet stitches aren’t perfectly aligned, it works up perfectly. I didn’t want to work with 15 pink bobbins, so I carried the pink yarn through all the stitches. This resulted in a slight shadow effect. It definitely wasn’t intentional on my part, but I like the way it looks. I am offering the pattern free in the hope that it will be used for cancer patients, either for a loved one or for a charity drive. I would ask that if you are using this pattern to sell the hats, please also consider making some to donate to your local cancer center.
