But, as used to describe the class of fireworks components we are about to look at, I'll be darned if I can find a better word. From "Traditional Cylinder Shell Construction, Part I" by A. The general term "garniture" refers to the contents of a shell (e.g., cut stars, pumped comets, serpents, whistles, reports, tourbillions; essentially anything that will fit in a shell."
