The side B of Panathenaic amphorae is adorned with scenes of the event in which the athlete had been victorious at the “Panathenaia”. Nine of these amphorae were discovered in a house located in the ancient site of Eretria. Their side B is decorated with scene of wrestling: they were presumably brought back to Eretria by a citizen who got many victories in this sportive discipline. Six of them are now in the Archaeological Museum in Athens, while three of these amphorae are displayed in Eretria Museum.
