Charlotte's teething like crazy! While she patiently waiting for that 1st tooth to pop through, I've been experimenting with easy, all-natural teething biscuit recipes & this one is our absolute favorite... My mom often talks about how she gave me teething biscuits as a baby & I was always covered in "cookie snot" (her words not mine), do you know what I'm talking about!? Anyway, since Charlotte is teething and loves to experiment with new foods, I created this homemade teething biscuit recipe that anyone can make at home. Here's how... HEALTHY HOMEMADE TEETHING BISCUITS MAKES: about 6 large biscuits 2 cups baby oatmeal 1 mashed banana 1 teaspoon organic ground cinnamon 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil 4 tablespoons water 1. Preheat the oven to 425˚F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. Mix all of the ingredients in a medium bowl using your hands until the dough is squishy and sticks together when pressed between your fingers. 3. Pat or roll the mixture out to about 1/4" thick on a cutting board. Cut into sticks or use a cookie cutter to make shapes (you want them to be as solid as possible, so avoid intricate cutters). 4. Bake 15 minutes or until golden, then turn off the oven and let harden in there for about 20 more minutes. The longer they sit the harder they'll get, so sometimes I leave them in even longer if I let some of the hot air out first. 5. Store in an air-tight container up to 1 week or in the freezer up to 3 months. Recipe note: Always watch your little one when they're chewing on a teething biscuit, once they mush it down, it's possible that they can bite off a chunk so you just want to make sure you're paying attention—don't give it to them and then walk away!

Banana Oat Cinnamon teething cookies, vegan and gluten free recipe for babies +6M Easy to make, easy to handle by little hands, hard enough to be chewed for a long time before breaking…and yummy!
I'm using the same method I came up with when I had my first baby, Akemi loves them! Not exact science, but super easy to make. And perfect for little ones who still have a limited diet! Banana Pear Teething Biscuits makes about a dozen 1 ripe banana 1 ripe pear 1/4 cup water 1 cup brown rice flour 1/2 cup baby rice cereal 1) preheat oven to 350. 2) peel, core, and chop pear. peel and chop banana. toss fruit into blender, add water, and puree until liquified. 3) pour fruit liquid into medium mixing bowl. add brown rice flour and baby rice cereal. stir until well mixed. should be about cookie dough consistency, add a little more flour if you need to. 4) scoop dough onto baking sheet lined with a silpat liner (I use this one) or if you don't have a silpat, lightly oil the cookie sheet to prevent sticking. I used a 2 tablespoon sized scoop for each biscuit. then flattened them slightly and shaped them into oblong biscuits. the dough is sticky, so dip your fingers in a glass a warm water to smooth the biscuits out if needed. make stripes on top with a knife if desired. 5) bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown. cool. store in covered container for up to a week.

This recipe was used by my sister-in-law and seemed to work very well. It uses honey as sweetener instead of sugar.
