This reduction linoprint is inspired by walks around Thursley Common, Surrey. Thursley Common is a nature reserve in Surrey Hills, with large areas of heathland, peat bogs and open ponds. (The print is a little brighter/lighter than the photos show) This landscape lino print is a limited edition of 27. It is an original, hand cut lino, printed on hand press using the reduction process and five colours. Reduction printing means it has been made from one piece of lino which is cut away after each colour has been printed, creating a limited edition of prints. Signed, numbered and titled in pencil Due to the hand printing method that goes into making this original lino print each and every one is slightly different, a truly unique piece of art. Occasionally there are ink marks on the paper edge which can occur during the printing process.
