Green Glass Vintage Hobnail Votive Candle Holders (One Set of 2). The glass votives are made from a heavy pressed green glass and measure approx. 2/12" tall with a 2 1/4" diameter opening. Each votive has a ring bottom and marked made in Taiwan, circa 1970s. The price includes the two candle holders shown. Unashamedly vintage, this beautiful hand blown art glass with loops and waves is a credit to the glass blowers of Krosno, Poland. Possibly from the Makora factory and produced in the 1970s. Standing at 17 cm tall, the 5 undulating waves and long loops are in striating tones of beige and greys, while the lower part consists of swirling shades of browns; the inner colour is translucent white. In good vintage condition with no chips or cracks, there are a couple of minor scratches around the lower part. See Photos. A striking, yet soft art piece to gift for any occasion, an ideal new home present. This would make a creative votive candle holder, and a carrier for a large air plant.
