This pouch is made with upcycled vintage kimono fabric on the outside and new cotton fabric on the inside. A Kimono often has unique pattern running down its length, so most of my pouches are one-of-a-kind. This is bigger than my original Kinchaku pouches and designed to fit most average-sized lunch boxes, but this is not necessarily a lunch box bag. It is padded for strength and can stand on its own, but NOT INSULATED. Strings are kept longer to hold some weight such as lunch box by tying at the top (as in photo). Strong midweight silk in white with multi-colored garden inspired print. Cotton lining is dark red with Japanese ikat "kasuri" pattern. Dark red Japanese "Edo-uchi" rayon drawcords. *Colors on the monitor/device may be slightly different from actual item. I do not recommend washing this bag. Please wash at your own risk.
