The "Jackie" Pant has a casual cut and has been designed to be comfortable yet flattering on many different body types and ages. The leg is wide with a curved, tapered hem. The waistband fits snugly around the high hip without pinching, and its stretch range accommodates a fluctuating waist size. For example, if you have a 32" waist (generic size medium) and you gain or loose weight (or get pregnant!), you will still be able to wear the Jackie Pant size M/L because the shirred waistband will grow and shrink with you while not looking too big or too small (to a point, of course). This pant is made from a lightweight, 21 wale cotton corduroy. This fabric is soft yet sturdy, lustrous, elegant and rich in color. It pairs well with different cottons, lightweight wools, linens and silks. FIT: XS is best for 25 - 27 inch waists. S/M is best for 28 - 30 inch waists. M/L is best for 30 - 32 inch waists. L/XL is best for 32 - 34 inch waists. Plus I is best for 34 - 38 inch waists. Plus II is best for 36 - 42 inch waists. Kids' sizes are available too! The Jackie Pant was styled with families in mind. CLEANING - Every Jackie Pant has been pre-washed and will not shrink. For best results, machine wash and tumble dry on low until almost dry, then straighten the seams and hang.
