ROUND ROCK, Texas City Map Art Print. For your Map Wall, memento of your travels or former abodes, reminder of home, gift for friends moving, wedding gift. My hand-drawn map reveals Round Rock - a small city just outside Austin has a vibe all its own and is consistently ranked as a most-livable city! Inhabited by Kiowa, Yojuane, Tawakoni, and Mayeye at the time of early Anglo settlement, the town's economy was stirred by cotton and cattle-driving but it was always a "bedroom community" until city leaders invested in economic development and Dell located its headquarters here in the 1990s. The name? The "Round Rock" is a large stone which marks the site in the 19th century where wagons crossed Brushy Creek. This is a PRINT of my original hand-drawn black ink line drawing.
