More About Our Earrings & How They Are Made: Each pair of earrings are designed one-of-a-kind pieces. A one and only original, a perfect addition to any jewelry lovers' collection. Our Earrings are made of various types of wood, Box Elder Burl, Yellow Cedar Burl. Black Ash, Tigerwood, Dymond Wood and various other types of wood. Each one unique in its appearance of wood grain and they are matched as close as can be. Sometimes we can produce a couple of pairs from the same block of wood, but no two earring pairs will be identical. This wood is sometimes dyed, casted in resin or just in its beautiful natural state. The wood we used is from Doberman Forge, where it is first used for handle material. In the description the term upcycled is used to let you know we waste no wood. Once a handle is cut from a wood block, the remnant of that block is used to make our jewelry. We cut, sand, polish and oil treat each wood piece. Then it's ready to go to the jewelry studio, to be designed into a trendy, fashionable, & wearable piece of jewelry. Sometimes our wood pieces are mistaken for stone, but you will be amazed upon viewing it, that it is wood & incredibly light weight!
