This Texel combed wool top has been hand dyed. The Texel sheep is originally from the Netherlands, being brought over to the UK in the 1970's. Dyeing fibres since 2006, I only use top quality commercial dyes to ensure good light & colour fastness. After setting the colours, they are well rinsed, and the fibres are then left to air dry slowly. The whole process can take 4-5 days.
