There are a million quotes around these days, walk into any store and you will find a whole wall of insipid quotes for your house. About 10 years ago I started making original quote paintings from things I either saw or thought and it has grown Into a bit of a cottage industry. If you have seen my original quote paintings at Art Festivals in the last 10 years , you know I do them because I love to hear laughter and I usually hear quite a lot. They are not your usual quotes.....to say the least! I am an encaustic artist. The originals are wax based , thus the warm soft -focus quality. That is the nature of the medium. Well, I finally have gotten to it....(En) Caustic Cards are the result of so many asking me for cards. I promise if you send one of these to any good friend, , no matter what the occasion , you will get a hearty laugh. Much like I hear all the time I see when I am selling them at an art show.
