I have been through the cupboards to put together these bundles of unique vintage mainly French and Swedish textiles which will be ideal for many creative textile projects-slow stitching, collage, and needle books. There are 12 different pieces of varying small sizes. All the fabrics have had a previous life-mainly as table linen-and you will find the very occasional mark or holes or tear. The embroidered pieces may vary a little from the photo. Most were found in Sweden or at Paris flea markets and include 4 embroidered pieces, a piece of transfer printed cloth, a piece of handwoven Swedish tea towel, 3 plain neutral coloured pieces-one of which is wonderfully textured, a piece of pale blue linen, a Swedish stencilled piece and a heavenly blue linen and lace napkin. It is tied together with faded blue ribbon and finished with a packet containing 20 assorted Mother of Pearl buttons and a few sprigs of lavender. The bundle weighs about 320 g.
