It is the more unusual hexagonal (six sided) shape with a very pretty fauna scroll design engraved design on the front and the back. It opens and shuts nicely and is marked on the inner rim for sterling silver. Inside it there are deep green velvet inserts and it comes suspended on a 16" sterling silver chain.
