♥ Welcome to RAVEN FALLS ♥ Celtic, Curios, Cats, Trees & Crows ✯ VINTAGE GEORG JENSEN LOCKET NECKLACE ✯ ✯ STERLING SILVER ✯ This is a beautiful silver locket by the famous silversmith Georg Jensen Since 1904, when his first workshop opened in Copenhagen, Georg Jensen has been creating timeless Scandinavian designs that exude elegance with a unique combination of craftsmanship, functionality and artistic aesthetics. This locket is a pretty octagonal shape with a four flower design. It is marked on the back with the makers initials GJ Ld (Georg Jensen) and 'silver'. The locket opens up and clicks shut perfectly and inside it has blue velvet inserts, ideal for photos. It comes suspended on an 18" sterling silver chain. I try to clean pieces sympathetically so as not to over polish and to retain some of their vintage authenticity. So it is always advisable to check the photos for more details on each piece.
