We are pleased to introduce you to another special feature. An exotic and totally stylish rockabilly watch in the design of the 50s. The watch was made by the German manufacturer Hettich. This company emerged from the traditional Garant company. The Garant company was founded in 1890 in Ludwigshafen on Lake Constance. A co-founder of the Garant company, Hugo Hettich, invented the well-known floating anchor for mechanical watches in 1955. The founders later parted ways and Hugo Hettich founded the company Hettich Uhrenfabrik. Nevertheless, the companies remained closely linked to each other. This is why Hettich movements can also be found in Garant watches. Watches with a floating anchor are known for their reliability and accuracy. In the years that followed, many other German manufacturers also switched to clockworks with floating anchors. The Hermle company in particular developed many different clock movements based on this, some of which are still produced today. The case and movement were completely disassembled, checked and cleaned. The clockwork was freshly supplied with special oil. Every watch that leaves our shop has been serviced beforehand. Our watches work well and run accurately.
