This is a print of a handmade map of the Walthamstow Wetlands, London, E17. Print on 250gsm white paper. Originally drawn with black ink and colour pencils on tracing paper. Walthamstow Wetlands is a fully operational 211 hectares Thames Water reservoir site which is the main source of water supply for 3.5 million people. The Wetlands are iconic of the Walthamstow and Tottenham neighbourhoods as they form a great walk for local communities and provide a large breathing space for the area. I love riding my bike south along the canal, this is why I drew this map showing the green and blue potential of this unique area.
