With all the Packout tool boxes that I own, they were scattered in stacks all over my workshop. The part that I struggled with the most was getting access to items being stored in the bottom tool box on each stack. To make storing my Packout tool boxes and accessing the items in them easier, I designed these modular and stackable plywood CNC projects that I am calling the Garage Stack Rack system. The Garage Stack Rack is designed to be cut on your CNC router using these digital files and then once you've assembled them, you can store the Large, Medium, 11 compartment, Crate or any of the other smaller Packout tool boxes. The only Packout boxes that will not fit are the Rolling tool box and the Rolling Tool Chest. The design features (2) fixed shelves for storing Packout tool boxes and the Rolling Base Garage Stack Rack can be modified to fit up to (1) Sliding Trays if storing lower profile Packout boxes is desired. If storing a bunch of Packout tool boxes is needed, you can add the Freestanding Garage Stack Rack (sold in another listing) to one of these to be stacked. This item is compatible with the other Garage Stack Rack CNC router files available here at Dryforge. These CNC Router files are a great way to get your CNC up and running quickly with a project that will help you organize your Packout tool boxes in your workshop. Included are Vectric Vcarve Pro CRV files, DXF files SVG files and 3D files for using the models or drawings to generate your own Rolling Base Garage Stack Rack for Packout tool boxes! The largest part to be CNC Routered on this project is 27-1/2" (699mm) in size.
