Beautiful Seaham Seaglass. Perfect for jewellery, crafts or a collection. Discovered on the famous Seaham Hall Beach, world famous for exquisite seaglass. Seaham Bottle Works was built by the Marquis of Londonderry and opened in 1853 closing in 1921. The glass spoil was discarded into the sea for nature to take course. Move forward 100 years and the world famous beach now presents special gems with every tide. A piece of history with unknown tales to tell. Tumbled around in the sea for a very long time each treasure found is unique, collected and personally searched for. A turn of the tide could have lost each gem for another unaccountable period of time. Seaglass may be subject to natures imperfections. Nature is beautiful.
