This book was began his popularity as a writer, and was followed by other books of fiction,non-fiction and sermon collections. According to the old internet source of Wikipedia(?), John Watson is the originator of quote "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle." (1897) CONDITION: Well cared for, but shows age spots on top of bind. Unsure of the original page colors, but likely some discoloration there.
