You are viewing an artisanal beeswax ornament of a large 16th century deer or reindeer. Hand-made by me, this ornament is one from my collection of many others. All have been reproduced from (or inspired by) designs created for Springerle and Speculas cookie boards, gingerbread presses, primitive American butter molds, and European chocolate or marzipan molds. Each ornament is cast, trimmed, and tinted one at a time; no two are exactly alike. Only 100% pure white beeswax is used; no paraffin or chemical stabilizers are added. The integral color - achieved with beeswax-based pigment - is permanent and will not fade or bleed, even if washed. Although the sheer surface tints are more delicate, they do not rub off with normal use. Measures 4.75" x 6.75" Comes with personalized booklet/tag stating name, date of release of original mold, and company who made it (if known). Also includes historical background about the molds, instructions for care, suggestions for use, and much more. We do ship internationally; just convo me for a price. ALSO ... If you wish to purchase other beeswax ornaments from my store to be combined in one shipment, convo me and I will create a reserved listing for you containing your selection.
