This is a Quick-Drying diaper with a fold-out, sewn-in soaker pad that allows your diapers to come cleaner, dry faster, and save you even more money! This diaper is made from your choice of 100% Organic cotton flannel, 100% Organic Cotton Birdseye, 100% Organic bamboo fleece or 100% Organic Bamboo Velour. It has soft, serged edges and the soaker is 2 layers thick (so it provides 6 layers of absorbency when folded for a larger baby or even more on smaller babies)! ~ 100% Organic unbleached cotton or organic bamboo inside and out ~ elasticized legs & back to hold in messes ~ snappi-able or pinnable or just lay into a cover or choose snaps or hook and loop tape for an easy-to-use closure option ~ front waist edge can be folded down for smaller babies This diaper is trim yet absorbent! It is NOT waterproof and will require a cover or very frequent changes. This is a simple fitted with no waterproof layer. Breathable and gentle, works well without a cover with frequent changes or use a cover as your baby grows and needs more protection. This diaper avoids the major pitfall of unclean, damp soaker layers by having a sewn-in, fold-out soaker. You don't have to do anything, the soaker will automatically fold out in the wash so that you are only washing and drying 2 layers at most. The fact that the soaker is sewn in means no keeping track of separate parts. You can also easily increase absorbency by adding additional material to the center before folding, though with small babies these are generally more than sufficient for the recommended 2-4 hours. It all adds up to great protection with 8 layers of 100% natural cotton flannel or organic bamboo material when folded for use. These should fit approximately 8 - 35 lbs meaning you can use this one diaper solution from birth to potty training! NOTE: I prewash/dry all materials in my commercial washer/dryer on HOT (without any detergents or additives) to preshrink them and condition the fabrics prior to sewing. The prevents distortions in the finished product from fabric shrinkage. It also preps the fabric to be ready for use/absorbency immediately, although items will become more absorbent and softer through each of the first few washes as the fibers open up more.
