Several years ago I mounted an exhibition of my Montreal photographs called “Montreal in a Series of Walkabouts”. The title for the show came from my walking about the city numerous times over a period of a few years looking for interesting photographs. Some of the photographs were of well-known landmarks, while others were found opportunities I came across unexpectedly. The black and white version of this photograph was part of that exhibition. I have added the colour version so that you can have a choice. Use either or both. These are infrared images, resulting in the intense sky and light foliage. The colour version is referred to as false colour (or "faux' colour) infrared. The photographs are sized to a 4x5 ratio which can then be printed as 4x5", 8x10", 11x14" (with a very slight crop on the long side), and 16"x20". These are all standard sizes for which mats and frames are readily available. Besides printing the image, it can also be used as a background on your computer screen or other device. Techie stuff: The downloaded image is a jpeg file with the dimensions 4800 x 6000 pixels at 300 dpi. The color space is sRGB. The file can be processed by any print lab (online or local print shop) or at home on a good inkjet printer. If printing at home, a quality paper with the printer set for high quality colour should produce very good results. The image is for your personal use only. If you wish to use it for commercial purposes, please contact me in a private message.
