I have two passions in life, quilting and animals (particularly rescue dogs). I wanted to incorporate these two passions, and thought a great way to do so would be to dedicate each pattern I design to a rescue dog or cat I know. I will donate 10% of pattern proceeds to the shelter where that animal was rescued from (or a shelter of the owner’s choice). It only made sense to dedicate my first pattern to my rescue dog, Watson. The pattern has a Southwestern vibe, just like Watson, who is a Chihuahua-mix. My husband and I adopted Watson from Muncie Animal Shelter in Muncie, IN. This quilt is made up of 6 large sections that are quick to put together and it is a pattern suitable for all skill levels, but due to trimming accuracy of the sections (especially for the larger quilt sizes) in step 10, I would say this pattern is most suitable for intermediate quilters. I hope you enjoy!
