I got this wonderful antique textile from an artist's estate and I think it's likely from the 1930s or 1940s. The scene is a romantic lakeside landscape scene, with a stone patio, columns, and balustrade surrounded by flowers and vines, with a view of a lake and gently rolling hills. The person from whom I got this believed it to have been made in Italy. The last photo shows the reverse side, which you can see has been lined. This fairly old textile measures about 35 1/4" high not including the three fabric hanging tabs, which add 3 1/4" to the tapestry's overall height. The tabs can accommodate a rod that is up to 2" in diameter. The tapestry is about 43 1/2" wide. In good condition with no holes, no tears, no repairs, no stains, and no odors, and this came from a smoke-free home, as am I. In good condition. FREE shipping within the United States.
