I Love Quilting and Have Plenty Material Witnesses vinyl decal can be applied to many items including jars, glass blocks, wood plaques, cups, wine glasses, mugs and more. AT CHECKOUT: ~ Select the size NOTES TO SELLER ~ Include color selection in "NOTES TO SELLER" from the color chart included in the listing. Decal is cut from durable vinyl and can be used for indoor / outdoor use. Please choose color from permanent; removable color choices for home decor also available upon request, and specify when placing order. Vinyl is removable, however not reusable. Decals adhere to most clean smooth surfaces. If you have questions about your surface or use, please let me know and I can provide more information to try to answer your questions or address your concerns. Although I cannot guarantee how long the vinyl will last, the vinyl specs for permanent decals is a 6 year outdoor glossy vinyl. Metallic is about 2 year outdoor. Chrome is a 2 year outdoor (shiny chrome finish) vinyl. Removable is a 3 year indoor matte finish vinyl. Permanent vinyl used indoors should last indefinitely when applied correctly on items not exposed to outdoor elements. If you will be applying vinyl to a new painted surface, such as plaque, it is important to let the paint dry and cure for at least a couple weeks. Although paint may be dry to the touch, applying the vinyl can damage fresh paint. The vinyl I use is not intended for walls, if you will be applying vinyl to walls, contact me before ordering and I will let you know what wall vinyl options I have available. Vinyl will not stick to silicone and rubber surfaces. Textured plastics or surfaces may not accept vinyl. I have found applying it and letting is set to cure or let the bond set often resolves the issue. I have applied vinyl to many surfaces successfully including, cars, car windows, glassware, tiles, unfinished and painted wood, mirrors, sport equipment, glasses, tumblers, picture frames and much, much more…the possibilities are endless. All vinyl is intended for single use and cannot be removed and reapplied. I use permanent vinyl on glasses that have been washed in the dishwasher on the top rack many, many times, this said, I cannot guarantee all items permanent vinyl is applied to can be washed in the dishwasher and would recommend hand washing anything where vinyl has been applied. Vinyl is shipped with transfer tape applied to the decal so applying the item to your surface is easy. Instructions for applying the vinyl are included with your decal order. Please note, while the vinyl may be easy to remove when first applied, over at least a 24 - 72 hour period the vinyl will continue to bond to the surface.
