Rodrigues fruit bats are only found on the tiny island Rodrigues in the Indian Ocean, part of Mauritius. They live in large groups in tropical forests and have a wingspan of 75cm. They are threatened by habitat loss and are hunted for food by locals. In the 1970s they almost became extinct, with numbers dropping to around 70. This is an A3 (42 x 29.7 cm) digital print of my Rodrigues fruit bats illustration. Printed in the UK on lovely thick 300 gsm lightly textured card. The card is FSC certified. Signed on the reverse. This print will be carefully packaged in a strong cardboard tube to avoid damage in the post. If you would be interested in having this printed larger, or as a Giclée print please get in touch! © Lyndsey Green 2020
