I've made these soy wax melts as a simple alternative for those candle lovers who would like to avoid an open flame (cats, babies etc.) But still enjoy a great smelling house. After many customer requests, I created my plastic-free soy wax melts. All the melts I'd seen came in a plastic clam shells and were made with paraffin wax. This did not fit with my eco-friendly ideals. I've solved the plastic clam shell conundrum by using silicon molds and pillar blend soy wax for a solid melt (my candle soy wax was a little too soft). And here we are! I hope you enjoy my plastic-free soy wax melts and can feel good about choosing a less wasteful melt. :) I have scent note profiles available upon request! (all 70 scents will not fit in the description) or on my website: thecandlechemist.com/blogs/scent-profiles/fragrance-profiles All fragrances oils are phthalate-free and adhere to RIFM and IFRA standards for safety and purity. All melts are handmade and homemade in small batches. Melts come in sets of 8 and are wrapped in biodegradable parchment paper and tied with a hemp string. Melts will be shipped in recycled paper padded mailers or cardboard boxes and paper tape. I purchase my shipping supplies from ecoenclose.com Reusable storage tins are also available to keep your melts potent after opening. Each melt square weighs between 0.4-0.5oz for a total of approx. 4oz per pack. How to use: Simply place your wax melt on your favorite candle warmer/wax warmer and the heat will slowly melt the wax and release the fragrance into the air. Warmers heat the wax at a much lower temperature letting the fragrance oil last much longer relative to the amount of wax used. Store your melts in re-useable containers (tupperware, jars etc.) after receiving them to hold the scent in or add one of my re-useable storage tins. Note: A scent name or description does not indicate content/ingredients. For example, cashmere plum does not contain cashmere.
