This earthenware teapot was made by James Sadler & Sons (Ltd) at one of their two potteries in Burslem, Staffordshire, England. It’s an intricately shaped ivory colored pot decorated with a very detailed scene depicting an old tea clipper in the background and tea growers with boxes of tea in the foreground with moderate gilding to the lid, spout and handle. It’s marked with the special “World of Tea Collection” mark. It's 7⅝" tall, 2½" front to back, 8" spout to handle and holds 2 cups.
