Each shelf is lovingly hand crafted by us - from start to finish- out of solid wood from local, reputable, lumber suppliers and is painstakingly hand selected (by us) for the highest quality possible. Due to the nature of this selection process, each and every shelving unit will have its own unique & stunning details. We never use cheap veneered wood or stain finishes to dress up cheaper wood to try to make it look like something it’s not! The wood that you select is the species of wood you will receive. We sand and finish every shelf by hand, ending the process with a food-safe, water resistant, non-toxic, no VOC, hybrid mineral oil & hard wax wood finish that will ensure that your piece will remain beautiful for many many years to come. Installation is a snap! The shelving unit includes 2 keyhole hangers on the back for maximum stability. The unit can hold approximately 15-20 pounds if anchored to drywall (with appropriate drywall anchor screws), and 40-50 pounds if anchored to a wall stud.
