Inspired by this quote from Josh Scribner of IBM: "I think there are some worthwhile aspects to Agile which differ from iterative development (most importantly the speed of development, and the focus around time-blocked work, rather than the death-march of waterfall). Iterative always implied the single fixed pathway, I like to imagine agile as a firework with a whole bunch of spirals. It might seem chaotic, but at a microscopic level it is the orderly spiral, and at the macroscopic level it is beautiful."
