Designer: Jonathan Mark. This garden features three large pieces of stone suspended over a Japanese pebble pool. The garden is designed to make you think twice before stepping in as the stone slabs appear to be unsupported, seeming to defy gravity. There are two layers to the planting scheme: box balls that soften the design, and a combination of irises, hostas and ferns that break up the linear placement of the box balls.
