Waves of shifting color radiate from the center point of this shawl in a pulsating pattern. All of the color changes happen automatically due to the self striping yarn, creating an interesting interplay of color as the rows get longer. This is a knit version of the auras that I see when I have a migraine. Instead of hiding in the dark, I’ve knit this shawl to show what my world looks like on many, painful days. The colorwork is done entirely with stacked increases and decreases, the same type of stitches used in the Fox Paws project, at an entry level of difficulty.
