Christopher Burch founded Cocoon9 with a childhood friend, Edwin Mahoney, several years ago, with the aim of tackling the increasingly crowded field of luxury prefab homebuilding. The houses feature hinged pocket doors that can conceal the kitchenettes and keep them out of sight.
