Happy Wednesday, stampers! There's a new Card Concept Challenge up today, look at this beauty: Isn't that gorgeous? It gave me a chance to use my brand-new, coming-in-the-new-catalog stamp set Hand-Penned Petals! I made a mini-slimline card in the Clean and Layered style; the size is 6"x 3 1/2": I stamped the florals in Memento Black and filled them in with Mint Macaron and Highland Heather. The stamped background is the script from (old) French Foliage in Smoky Slate; the beautiful DSP is part of the Hand-Penned suite, and it is GORGEOUS. You will definitely be seeing a lot more of this! Plus I diecut it with the new Basic Borders dies...they are amazing! I added a few little Genial Gems in Mint Macaron and a gingham bow: And I almost forgot....I freehand cut some Brushed Silver cardstock into a bucket shape, then embossed it with an embossing folder and added some Craft White and Basic Gray shading! I used the remaining piece of diecut DSP to embellish the inside: I am also entering this at the TGIF challenge, where they are looking for slimline cards! I hope you'll play along with our pretty inspiration this week...be sure to stop by the Card Concept blog to see how the other designers interpreted this photo, then share yours with us too! Be sure to tell us your "style"...you can see all the styles listed on the challenge blog! Thanks for popping in today! Enjoy your day and be blessed! Project Details—All Products SU! Happy Sunday everyone! What strange summer we're having so far this year. It was hot and very dry in June, and now it doesn't really want to stop raining. The grass was fertilized the day before the last round of rain, and was hard to cut in places yesterday - it was so long! Once

Miss Monday Cards using the Color & Contour stamp set. I really wanted to keep this card simple and needed to master the two step stamping for this flower. But because I'm me, I changed it up just a little bit but stamping some on a scrap of basic white and die cutting it out. Then I attached it with dimensionals to make it pop up more. It is hard to tell in the photo below but in person it really does give it a nice look! https://www.stampinup.com/products/color-contour-photopolymer-stamp-set?demoid=2130375 Left is stamped directly on to the paper and right is stamped, die cut, and then attached to the card with dimensionals. When stamping 3 images like this start with your outside images first and then your center IF you have room. If you think you don't have the space for all there images, stamp you center one first and then the others can hang over the edge. I used Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay, and Flirty Flamingo for my floral images. I also used the "Happy Birthday" from the Party Puffin Stamp set. https://www.stampinup.com/products/party-puffins-cling-stamp-set?demoid=2130375 Here is a close up to the flower so you can see how they "pop up" by using dimensionals. You can make these Miss Monday cards too by shopping at my online store and following the steps below. Supplies Color & Contour Stamp Set Scalloped & Contour Dies Basic Black Ink & Cardstock Basic White Cardstock Granny Apple Green Ink Bermuda Bay Ink Flirty Flamingo Ink Wink of Stella Always Recommended Paper Snips Trimmer Simply Shammy Die Cutting Machine Bone Folder Adhesives Measurements Thick Basic White Cardbase: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4 Basic Black: 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White: 3 3/4 x 5 Steps Measure, score, and cut paper. Stamp 3 flowers on your Basic White or onto a scrap piece of basic white to die cut out. Stamp the inside of the flowers with 3 different colors (Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay, & Flirty Flamingo). Stamp Happy Birthday below the flowers in Black ink (Memento). Glue your Basic Black to your Basic White and attach to the cardbase. Use dimensionals to attach flowers if you died cut them out. Add a little Wink of Stella to the center of your flowers for some added mess free glitter. Happy Stampin' Everyone!!!
