There's nothing like a RCR in the sun to brighten up a photographic morning. This guy was keeping company with the adjacent female,feeding in the yards near the ram shed. The trick with these birds is not to saturate the red. Most of my shots came out with the red saturated direct from the camera/raw converter, so not much could be done about it. This one is not saturated on my main screen, but is on the other, so it's at the edge of what my screens can show.
