Story retellings are an important sign of a student's comprehension. With this story reteling project, the skill is broken down into the key components students should attend to when reading culminating in summarizing skills. HOW THE RETELLING PAPER BAG BOOK WORKS: You can use it with your small group instruction, as practice in a workstation or for partner work. Students work on a section at a time and complete the book as they work with a given text.
