She was just so tickled to have a book that matches one of her favorite songs -- and couldn't believe there were other verses that we hadn't been singing already! Do you know all the verses of this classic song? I didn't. This fun little book in the Sing-Along series pairs sweet, snuggly illustrations with the words and tune that are so familiar to all of us. Come on, admit it -- you're singing along in your head right now, aren't you? The illustrations are really unique. They seem to be computer-drawn, which is normally a turn-off for me, but as Gv and I flipped through the pages, all those cute little critters really began to grow on me. Gv loved the inclusion of the actual sheet music at the end. You can even play along with the included sheet music! We have a handful of books that are like this and they all live on the piano's music holder, all the time. And Gv will go in the living room and sing and "play" each tune. All the time. This is a classic padded-cover board book, so that means that it's great for babies up through elementary-aged kids.
