Its been 20 days now since I planted my tomato starters upside-down. They are doing great! (look how well this one has healed from me beating it up when I forced it thru the hole in the pot - you would never know!) The tomato plants turned around real fast and now they have grown as tall as they are long :) Soon they will stretch about as tall as to touch the top of the pot. Just to recap, I began with healthy Sungold Orange Cherry Tomato starters from my local nursery that were about 18" tall. Growing upside-down plants like this allows them to be impressively healthy. I will continue to document their progress this year.
