These art bilingual cards are wonderful to have in the art room, especially as it has many uses! These were made in consideration with promoting a second language and creating a welcoming classroom. The languages in focus for these bilingual cards are English and Spanish. These cards can be used for all grade levels! They can be used to promote a second language if your school is similar to an International Baccalaureate school (IB School), students learning a second language, students in ESOL, or otherwise ehancing learning for all students!! Included in this resource is a list of words divided into three main categories: Elements of Art, Principles of Design, and Art Concepts. You'll notice these cards are matched by the font colors. Each page has three cards that can be printed and cut. The word list on page 3 will help you keep the cards organized for you as you cut. Each word(s) in this card deck has the English/Spanish translated with visuals. It will make it easier for students to reference the words to the pictures to understand the definition/concept! How can you use these cards? Review ideas with students as you introduce a new lesson or unit throughout the year! Have students write the translations down in their sketchbooks~ On a word wall for students to reference to as they are working on their project.
