There are a few moments in the function of our bodies that I find totally unbelievably magical. In the lungs, it's the Alveoli. These little sacs are how oxygen gets attached to the blood. It's remarkably important and the entire reason our lungs have this shape. It's all about getting the air down through the bronchioles and straight to the alveoli. We put the ol' Archie spin on this one, giving lots of space to explaining the most important story of the organ. A collaboration with David Hennessy. 8"x8" Letterpress print. FRAMING Have you noticed that frame shops never go out of business? There's a reason. It's a highly specialized skill that requires individual attention. We recommend using your local framer. Alternatively, frameusa.com has standard sized frames with many options. ABOUT LETTERPRESS PRINTING Letterpress is a very complicated and expensive printing method that I am obsessed with. All Letterpress are slammed with 600 pounds of pressure, creating a deep, tactile texture. The ink gets embedded into the thick soft paper so it won't fade within your lifetime. Read more about letterpress printing here. ABOUT THE IDEA So why all the circles? Research indicates that GPS's are hindering our ability to create mental maps of our surroundings. My maps aim to install a "Map from the Mind" for each city, simplifying structures and districts in the simplest terms. Each design is taken as a new challenge, using the knowledge of locals to create a map that is both beautiful and useful. Copyright 2019 Archie's Press

Las Partes de mi Cuerpo is a fun hands-on activity to teach the Body Parts in Spanish. This activity promotes Language and Vocabulary Development. It is perfect for visual, tactile and kinesthetic learners. It can be used in two different ways: ✅ “Spin The Wheel” Up to 4 students at a time, preferably. It includes a “Spin the Wheel” mat, a color copy of a boy/girl mat, color counters and a black and white answer copy. Each student gets 10 color counters (1 of each color) before starting. Students take turns to spin the wheel (you can use a paper clip and pencil to make the spinner) and place the color counter on their own boy/girl mat to match the color on the wheel. Then, they can record their answer in the black and white copy provided. The first person to complete the mat with the body parts in Spanish wins. ✅ “Guess it”It can be used by a single student and /or in groups. You get the “Body Parts in Spanish” picture labels to cut, and put them in a brown paper bag or any "secret" container. Students take turns to take out the picture labels from the bag and guess what body part in Spanish they found. Then, they record their findings in the black and white answer sheet. An extra sheet is provided (a blank body outline) that can be used to challenge students to draw and label the body parts or as an assessment tool to check their understanding. You decide!!.
